Position Overview:
We’re looking for a skilled and reliable Fleet Maintenance Technician to keep our equipment running safely and efficiently. This role involves performing routine maintenance, diagnosing issues, and completing repairs on a variety of mechanical and electrical systems. If you're hands-on, detail-oriented, and enjoy solving mechanical challenges, we’d love to hear from you.
Key Responsibilities:
Perform regular maintenance and minor repairs on fleet vehicles, including oil changes, tire replacements, and component swaps.
Diagnose mechanical and electrical problems and implement effective solutions.
Use hand tools and specialized diagnostic equipment to complete repairs accurately and safely.
Maintain detailed records of maintenance, repairs, and services performed.
Ensure all work meets safety standards and complies with relevant regulations.
Assist in maintaining a clean, organized, and safe workshop environment.
Knowledge & Skills Required:
Proficient in engine repair and general mechanical systems.
Skilled in the use of hand tools and diagnostic equipment.
Strong problem-solving abilities and attention to detail.
Ability to read and interpret schematics and technical diagrams.
Solid understanding of mechanical and electrical troubleshooting.
Clear communicator and effective team player.
Work Environment & Physical Requirements:
Must be able to walk, stand, climb, kneel, carry, and reach for extended periods.
Ability to work both indoors and outdoors, around vehicles and machinery with moving parts.
Responsible for maintaining a clean, safe, and organized shop at all times.
