We are looking for an experienced Lead Hand Carpenter – Commercial Service to join our team. This is a hands-on position for a skilled carpenter who can take ownership of commercial service jobs, lead work in the field, and ensure projects are completed safely, efficiently, and to a high standard.

The ideal candidate is an experienced commercial carpenter who is comfortable working independently, leading other team members when required, troubleshooting on site, and communicating professionally with customers.

What You’ll Do:

  • Perform hands-on commercial carpentry, repair, maintenance, and installation work

  • Lead and coordinate carpenters, apprentices, and helpers on assigned jobs

  • Review work orders, drawings, specifications, and job requirements

  • Plan daily work and determine the appropriate sequence of tasks

  • Coordinate materials, tools, and equipment required to complete jobs

  • Install and repair commercial doors, frames, and hardware

  • Perform cabinetry, millwork, and finishing carpentry

  • Complete framing, drywall, and finishing repairs

  • Install and repair suspended ceilings and ceiling tile

  • Perform general commercial building repairs and maintenance

  • Troubleshoot site conditions and resolve problems in the field

  • Coordinate with customers, site representatives, other trades, and the Service Manager

  • Monitor workmanship and ensure work meets company and customer standards

What We’re Looking For:

  • 5+ years of carpentry experience, with strong commercial experience preferred

  • Previous experience as a Lead Hand, senior carpenter, or in a similar field leadership role

  • Strong experience with commercial service, repair, and maintenance work

  • Experience with commercial doors, frames, and hardware

  • Strong knowledge of framing, drywall, ceilings, cabinetry, millwork, and general building repairs

  • Ability to read and interpret drawings, specifications, and work orders

  • Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills

  • Ability to organize work and provide direction to other team members

  • Comfortable working independently and making appropriate decisions in the field

Carpenter – Commercial Service

$25–$34/hr | Company Vehicle | Benefits | RRSP | Year-Round Work

  •  Diagnose, troubleshoot, repair, and maintain commercial appliances and foodservice equipment.

  •  Install and commission new equipment to ensure reliable operation.

  •  Perform preventative maintenance to reduce downtime and extend equipment life.

  •  Disassemble, inspect, repair, and reassemble equipment efficiently.

  • Load and unload trucks safely and efficiently

  • Move materials, tools, and equipment where needed

  • Keep the warehouse, yard, shop, and parking areas clean and organized

  • Complete basic paperwork and reports accurately

Paramount is looking for a dependable, safety-minded Delivery Driver – Commercial Equipment to join our team.

You'll spend your day delivering and picking up commercial and rental equipment throughout Winnipeg and the surrounding area, working directly with customers, and making sure equipment gets where it needs to go safely and on time.

 

When you're not on the road, you'll help prepare equipment for deliveries and assist with general organization in our equipment yard and warehouse.

If you enjoy driving, working with equipment, staying active, and having variety in your day, this could be a great fit.

What You'll Do

  • Deliver and pick up commercial and rental equipment using company trucks (up to 3-ton).

  • Safely load, secure, transport, and unload equipment.

  • Complete daily vehicle inspections and basic maintenance checks.

  • Provide friendly, professional service to customers at delivery and pickup locations.

  • Operate forklifts and other material-handling equipment (training available).

  • Prepare equipment for delivery and customer pickup.

  • Help keep the equipment yard and warehouse organized and safe.

What We're Looking For

  • Valid Class 5 driver's licence with a clean driving record.
